The project, undertaken at the VDLES facility in the Netherlands, was intended for an end user in the Persian Gulf and required significant recovery efforts due to delays and complications.

Over a nine-month period from 2021 to 2022, Infinity Engineering provided crucial support to the project, which had been vastly behind schedule. The team played a key role in various testing and implementation activities, showcasing their ability to handle non-standard and bespoke challenges. Highlights of Infinity's contributions included connecting and testing 60 control cabinets, executing gas turbine package system tests, and delivering successful Compressor String Tests and Fire and Gas tests, all tailored to client specifications.

Infinity Engineering also implemented Siemens PCS7 Software and Electrical Amendment Orders, ensuring the successful completion of Customer Witness Tests (CWT) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for all three SGT700 units. Their comprehensive support extended to gas turbine hardware and software testing, project punch list resolution, and a detailed lessons learned feedback process.

The project culminated in March 2022 with positive feedback from VDL Energy Systems BV, an external service provider at Siemens Energy B.V., who expressed gratitude for Infinity's unwavering support and the "warm fluffy feeling" the team provided throughout the project.
